We've been in Canada for almost 2 weeks now and we've seen more rain now than the previous 10 months put together!! It was really nice at first to smell the rain and feel the rain... but now we're thinking of building a big boat and wait for the animals...
Our first week here we spent some time at Loon Lake and visited around quite a bit. We're looking forward to going back for a week to speak and camp at Silver Birch Bible Camp and maybe get a chance to see some more folks there...
Then we went to Swan River, MB to visit friends Irvin, Mari and Leah Penner and to share our vision for ministry at Little Woody Baptist Church. We had a great time there. The Penners rented us a motel room for the week. There was a pool with a waterslide there- we all spent countless hours there getitng waterlogged and visiting.
The Sunday at Little Woody went well. We had quite a few folks interested and checking our display table out. We had 8 or 9 kids get sponsored for School in the last 2 weekends! Praise God! Please pray that folks also catch a vision for our ministry and come alongside us as financial and prayer supporters in the coming weeks ahead!
Now we are in Prince Albert, SK staying with our good friends, the Sauers. Today was their kids last day of school so the Sauer kids and McDonald kids are all gung ho about hanging together this next week and a half!!
